Donington revs up for a classic

Tuesday, July 20 2021

The Donington Park Classic Motorcycle Festival will roar into action on 31 July/1 August, for a two-day celebration of retro biking. Tickets are available in advance for £18 for adults, with discounted rates for teenagers aged 13-15, while under-13s go free all weekend. Click here to book now.

The Classic Racing Motorcycle Club will deliver a packed programme of over 40 races, including rounds of the ACU Classic and Post Classic Championships, plus classic sidecars and more.

An attention grabbing display area on the Melbourne Hairpin section will contain historic bike and Grand Prix machinery, representing over 60 years of racing history. Star attractions include Kenny Roberts' Proton V5 four stroke from the early MotoGP era, while the 100th anniversary of Moto Guzzi will be commemorated with an assortment of road and race bikes including the machine that won the 1962 Argentinian Grand Prix.

Many of the bikes on display will take part in the on track parades, while star guests confirmed to attend include triple Isle of Man TT winner Alex George, with more big names set to be announced.

Still time to join our unique display
We are calling all classic bike owners and classic bike clubs to come and display at the event.

Each rider will receive a free entrance ticket, plus 50% off a passenger ticket.

Individual owners, and clubs, can apply for displaying by registering here.

How we continue to keep you safe: COVID-19
Whilst our motor racing circuits are outdoor venues, with spectators dispersed over a very wide area, we recognise the importance of maintaining sensible precautions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We have therefore retained many of the protocols that have been in place since we welcomed spectators back again in May. Click here for details.

Tickets will be available in advance until 4pm on Thursday 29 July. For more information and to book your tickets now, please call0843 453 9000 or click here.
