The Donington Historic Festival returns to racing in front of a big crowd this weekend (30 April-1 May). If you're coming along to one of Europe's leading historic racing events, here's everything you need to know to make the most of your trip to Donington Park.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 7.30am on both days. Access to the circuit will be from the main paddock gate, Esses Gate, and Coppice.

Tickets
Additional tickets will be available upon arrival at the venue. Adult tickets are available for £30 on both days, while full two day weekend tickets are priced at £50. Discounted rates are available for teenagers aged 13-15, while children under 13 go free.

If you have chosen to have tickets posted you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted.

All advance tickets have been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. If you haven't received them, contact us urgently at tickets@msv.com

Print-at-home/e-tickets tickets are emailed on the day of purchase.

If you haven't received yours, login to your MSV account to access them - your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue. All e-tickets can be printed or scanned from a mobile device.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Pre-registration is not required for season pass holders, who should present their passes on the gate as usual.

Camping 
There is no camping at the circuit this weekend. Click here for a list of local accommodation, including the Donington Park Farmhouse adjacent to the main entrance.

Parking
All public car parking is free of charge and will be outside the main entrance.

Starkey's Parking
The Starkey's Parking area, overlooking the Craner Curves and Old Hairpin has sold out on both days.

Vehicles will need to head to the Coppice gate upon arrival, and all people inside the car will need to have a valid entry ticket. A car hanger will be provided to all Starkey's Parking purchasers, and must be displayed inside the vehicle on the day.

Disabled Parking
There will be a dedicated parking and viewing area at Coppice corner. Please present your blue badge when you arrive and you'll be directed to the correct location, via the Coppice gate.

Food and drink
The Garage 39 restaurant, bar and café will be open throughout the event serving a variety of food and refreshments. A number of other outlets will be operating around the venue in the most popular spectator areas.

Infield access
Infield access this weekend will be available through the tunnels in the paddock and the Esses.

Grandstand seating
Seating in the Hollywood Grandstand will be available to purchase on the day priced at £12 per day for adults. Discounted rates are available for teenagers aged 13-15 and for children. Grandstand tickets will be available from the booths at the grandstand and the Megastore in the paddock.

Trade and merchandise
The MSV Megastore in the paddock will be open, while additional merchandise stands will be located alongside and opposite it. The Megastore will have a range of Donington Park memorabilia and gift ideas.

Off-track entertainment
An extensive range of entertainment can be found at this event including car displays, dream car rides, flypasts, and more.

- The Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast will take place on both days. Saturday's aerial display will come from a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane, while the Hurricane will return on Sunday

- Car club displays - a huge number of car clubs will exhibit their members' pride and joy, with hundreds of vehicles expected across the two days. The displays will be found on the infield and on the Melbourne Loop, near the main entrance. Many of these cars will take part in parades on both days

- Sporting Bears Dream Rides - Located on the Melbourne Loop, a number of classic and supercars will offer rides around the Donington Park area in return for a charitable donation

- Pit Walks - free of charge pit walks will take place on both days, allowing a closer look at the cars based in the garages, competing in the Pall Mall Cup.

- Trade Stands - A wide variety of trade stands will be based near the Megastore in the paddock. Exhibitors include booksellers, motorsport art and memorabilia.

- Historic go karting - a display of retro go karting can be found in the paddock, celebrating the golden era of British karting from 1959 to 1997.

- Cheshire Concours D'Esprit - an exceptional line-up of vehicles will be located in the paddock, celebrating the special spirit of sports cars. Expected machinery ranges from a 1921 Bentley 3-Litre Vanden Plas Tourer to a 1973 De Tomaso Pantera

Radio Donington - NEW FREQUENCY
Radio Donington will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend on the new frequency of 87.9FM.

Security
The safety and security of all our visitors is paramount, so please be aware you may be subject to bag searches and security checks at our venue. We would also politely ask, as an additional security measure, that you put luggage tags on all of your bags detailing your name and mobile number, so that it can be easily identified. Please do not leave your bag or personal belongings unattended at any time.
