F1 car demos confirmed for Donington Masters this Saturday!

Thursday, June 06 2019

Saturday's Masters Historic action at Donington Park will be highlighted by two F1 car demonstrations with seven cars expected to take to the track.

The F1 demos will take place on Saturday at 11.10 and 14.55 and will include an ex-Niki Lauda March, a Ligier JS11/15 and a Benetton B190.

The Lauda machine will be a nod to the life of the F1 legend who recently passed away, while the Ligier JS11 is a sensational 'ground effect' machine from the 1979 and 1980 seasons, taking five wins.

The Benetton was another successful car, romping to wins in Japan and Australia at the hands of three time champion Nelson Piquet.

Also in action will be another March, an Osella FA1D, an Ensign from 1977 and a Mercedes F1 replica.

The F1 demos will last for 30 minutes, and will be a highlight of Saturday's qualifying and race day.

Aside from the F1 demos, there's plenty more to look forward to this weekend with two days of superb action from Masters' typically high quality range of historic racing categories featuring a wide range of sports cars, saloons and GTs.
