Masters Festival brings classic F1 to Brands Hatch this weekend

Thursday, August 13 2020

The Brands Hatch GP circuit will reverberate with the sounds of Grand Prix racing history when the Masters Historic Festival is headlined by Masters Historic F1 on 22-23 August.

Star cars from Lotus, Williams, Arrows and more are expected to take to the Kent circuit's iconic longer layout, home to British and European Grands Prix between 1964 and '86, resplendent in period liveries. There is even a rare six-wheeled Tyrrell P34 provisionally entered for the weekend's two races, and Grand Prix winner and Sky F1 pundit Johnny Herbert will a race a 40-year-old Ensign N180B!

The main F1 show will be accompanied by a range of other races for sports cars, GTs and touring cars on a weekend of flat-out nostalgia.

Visitors are welcome to attend as the venue continues to operate at a reduced capacity, with a range of hygiene and social distancing measures in place to ensure that visits are safe and enjoyable, in accordance with COVID-Secure guidelines.  Click here to download the latest summary.
